Last week 5/4B students conducted a science experiment to move an object without using their hand. It was a lot of fun seeing the different techniques used by each student. The way I chose was: I put a balloon inside a pipe. On top of the balloon I placed a lid with a stick on top of it. At the top of the pipe I placed a ball and two sticks side by side to create a ramp leading downwards to the floor. When I blew up the balloon using a pump, the lid and stick raised up, hitting the ball causing it to roll down the ramp and across the floor. Jasmine 5/4B |

This dedicated group of students attend lunchtime art each Thursday has transformed the office noticeboard Values Tree into a fun Halloween display. Over the past few weeks, students have made spiders, ghosts and bats. We will now start doing Christmas activities, so the tree will once again undergo a facelift. Please feel free to call in to the office and have a look at the noticeboard and the children’s work. They are very proud of their results. (Donation of craft items is always appreciated. We are still in need of old computer keyboards - they don’t have to be in working order) |
