It’s hard being a clown
At the Caravonica State School Fair there were so many people I couldn’t believe my eyes. For that reason I ran out of lollies every time I went around. When walking around there was the occasional person who wanted to tackle me. It was like a minefield out on the oval you’re constantly dodging people to stop from getting run over by everyone. As a clown you can’t stop smiling because of all the little kids that look up to you. I could never find it in my heart to disappoint the kids. I would always get a huge hug from them when they saw me. It also filled my heart with joy when I saw those children smile. I just hope that the when they grow up they will feel the same joy and happiness that filled my heart at our school fete. By Allysha Caravonica State School 7\6A

Science FairCaravonica held a Science Fair where the children got to make cornflour slime, study fingerprints, make and sink aluminium boats, use microscopes, create a tower made from straws and loads more exciting activities. Ethan in 2A has written a letter about the day.
Thank you for setting up the experiments for Science Week. I’m sure me and 2A enjoyed it and I liked making the putty. I did 5 activities. I did the putty, the microscopes, the magnetic race, battery and bulb and using pipettes. Ethan B

5/4B Tree Planting Day
National Tree Day is about looking after the planet, the environment and the plants. We do the tree walk with our teacher, Mrs Dixon. Stephanie, Miranda, Tiah and I are in it too. For our tree walk we plant new trees for nature, animals and forests, because people are cutting them down to make paper and furniture. Animals need our trees for their survival. We need trees for air so we can survive too. Mrs Dixon planted 28 trees two years ago, now that’s good! We will have a healthy ecosystem. Nature does this all the time for free. By Chloe Smith 5/4B
