Friday 31st October is national Bandanna Day. Why the bandanna? Cancer treatment can mean hair loss and many young people choose to wear bandannas during this time. This is why the
bandanna was chosen as a symbol for CanTeen.
To take part in National Bandanna Day 2008 and support 12-24 year olds living with cancer, you can purchase a bandanna for the small cost of $3.00.
The Student Council will be selling bandannas every day during first lunch at the tuckshop (until sold out).
If parents or carers wish to purchase a bandanna they will be available at the office.
The Student Council thank you for your support and ask that you do not wear your bandanna at school until Friday 31st October.
It will be great to see our whole school wearing a bandanna on that day.
