On Tuesday 11th September, Year 4 visited the Cairns Aquarium. I saw many amazing things, such as jellyfish, sting-rays, sharks and many varieties of colourful fish. The most interesting thing was learning all about the Barramundi and its life cycle. I also learnt lots of facts about all the dangers for the reef such as warmer oceans and pollution. The seahorses I saw were incredible, and I loved touching the starfish in the touch pool. I really enjoyed our excursion to the Cairns Aquarium and I hope we can visit it again.

On Tuesday 11th September, Year 4 visited the Cairns Aquarium. Firstly, we saw lots of fish like Barramundi and a gargantuan Grouper. Secondly, we filled out our aquarium booklet and went into the reptile section. Reece, who was our educator, taught us lots of information and facts about the Moon Jellyfish. I found the most interesting part was touching a huge starfish in the touch pool for the first time.
