Country Fair

CARAVONICA COUNTRY FAIR

This year our fantastic fair will be held on Saturday 18th August,  but before we get to this monumental event there is a long road ahead  behind the scenes. With this in mind WE NEED YOU!

For those of you who are unaware the Country Fair is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  In 2017, with your help we raised  $30,000! 

 Let’s see what we can do this year.  And why do we go to all this trouble you may ask?  All of the money raised goes back to helping the children of our great school!

 

 Coordinators are URGENTLY needed for class stalls.  For some stalls, this means little more than collating the roster of volunteers and setting up the stall on the day, while other stalls require a little more of your time.  If you would like more details about what’s involved for your class, see your class teacher or ring the school office or email Naomi.

 

LUCKY JAR STALL
Bring along your clean jars, or jars filled with anything NEW, yummy, useful or interesting. [Give it Up Cup Week 3 (30thJul—3rd Aug).]


CRAFT STALL
The Craft Stall needs your donations!   For inspiration ask your friends or ‘Google’ craft for some great donation ideas. [Give it Up Cup Week 3 (30th Jul—3rd Aug)].
 
CENT SALE/ HAMPER STALL
The Cent Sale put together some gorgeous hampers, however they can’t do that without your help with donations [Give it Up Cup Week 4 (6th—10th Aug)].

PLANT STALL
Plant seeds, divide bulbous plants or prepare cuttings to donate during Give it Up Cup Week 5 (13th-17th Aug).

SECOND HAND STALL
We need your unwanted goods. Have a clean out at home these holidays & bring your goods to the office. REMEMBER:  NO TVs & NO clothing you would not buy yourself.
COORDINATORS NEEDED
Several stalls need a coordinator.  Please see your class teacher or email Naomi (naomihogan67@gmail.com) if you can help. The Fair committee will guide and assist you all the way!
COUNTRY FAIR MEETINGS
Come and lend a hand, throw around ideas and make a difference to the country fair  by coming to the meetings held every Friday at 2:00pm in the staffroom.

The MONSTER CASH RAFFLE tickets will be available from this week.  It would be fantastic if every family could sell at least one book of tickets.  Please return the permission slip to the office so that a book of  tickets can be sent home.

 

We are still seeking sponsorship to assist with the Fireworks Spectacular display that concludes the fair.  If you have a business that could help, please contact Naomi.
